Q: “You play flute these days, which is a fairly recent addition to your repertoire. I know you have been playing for some time but you seem to be playing it more – is it to keep your interest up in playing?”

A: “Well, yeah. I like to do it when I playing the only horn and if I'm on a job like even – I’ll say it this way: if I drive to a job, I bring my baritone, my alto, my soprano, I play them all. And just to change the sound doing the period on that, I've got some things, some specialties I do on the soprano that, you know, the straight soprano, and the alto, and then the little piccolo was added. It went on. That's why I had to take my car because if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to handle them on the I'm plane.”
