Q: “Now, you’re from a little town – Honeygrove, is it?

A: “I was born in Honey Grove and one of my diplomat friends from the Ivory Coast who was ... he is the ambassador to Rome now, wanted to write ... go to my hometown and see where I was born and he wanted to make pictures of the house and do a big story in Ivory Coast. He said, "When you got out to play in Paris or wherever you got out to play." He said, he went to where I was and they didn't even know who I was, you know. I put Honey Grove on the map, but nobody knew who Sammy Price was. And so he said, "You're a phony there." I said, "Well, I can't help it if they destroyed my home."
