Q: “If the organ can be so much trouble – first of all, it’s not in favour too much; secondly, it’s a bugger to carry around with you – why do you play it?”

A: “Well, after all the years I've been on it, you know, like I'm really noted for it because I have been working a couple of jobs using piano with trio and it goes out because it's different because people look at me and say, "Wow, I didn't know you play piano, well, as a keyboard, right? It's the closest thing to the organ as you can get."
