Q: “With whom had you started playing? Were you somebody who started young as a musician?”

A: “I was in ... I started playing the clarinet in a high school band. You know, instead of taking ... going, I don't know anything else. The easiest thing I thought was, you know, the clarinet. Friends of mine was playing in the band, so you just go there for an hour a day.”
