[In relation to live TV appearance on the CBC’s “Jazz Workshop” show; February 5, 1953]

Q: “There was obviously no audience other than a television audience for that. Few people there but it didn’t sound like an audience – just a few people in the studio…”

A: “Well, I think some of the people from the Jazz Society of Montreal were present as well, so that there was, in fact, an audience of real fans and I was able to talk to some of the people who were in that audience.”
