Q: “I think the five or six years you spent with Oscar Peterson, in that time you must have recorded – because that was virtually the house trio at Verve Records, right? – and you were with everybody”

A: “That's right, anybody can ... and then after I left Oscar and was home a few months, I went back with Ella for another two years, so there was almost eight years I was with that Jazz at the Philharmonic.”
