Q: “The trombone became – obviously – a more and more consuming passion. Did you move to Toronto as much for the music as for medical opportunities?

A: “I think that I had a very nice practice in Hanover. The people were very, very good to me up there and I think if I considered everything, I considered educational opportunities for my children and musical opportunities for me and the fact that my wife loves Toronto. I think those are perhaps three of the factors that brought us down here. I don't think that … it wouldn’t have been possible for me to do anything that I have done in the last five years had I not moved to Toronto and it's just really things have just been great.”
