Terry Lukiwski
Biography
TERRY LUKIWSKI (trombonist) led his own quartet twice during the “Sound of Toronto Jazz” Concert Series, and performed as a sideman with five other outstanding bands featured over nearly three decades of “Sound of Toronto Jazz” presentations:
- with Nimmons ‘n’ Nine Plus Six on March 7, 1977;
- leading the Terry Lukiwski Quartet on March 10, 1980;
- with Paul Grosney’s Kansas City Express on October 20, 1980;
- with the Brass Connection on December 14, 1981;
- with the Hagood Hardy Jazz Sextet on October 22, 1990;
- with the Bill Graham Sextet on December 17, 1990;
- leading the Terry Lukiwski Quartet on Janary 25, 1993
