Sean Bray
Biography
SEAN BRAY (guitarist) studied at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in New York. He is a respected studio guitarist in Toronto where, in addition to performing and recording, he also composes for film and television and teaches at both the University of Guelph and the Toronto Film School.
He is accomplished at playing blues, roots, pop, and jazz, with a warm and melodic style which has been heard in performance and/or recordings with George Garzone, Pat LaBarbera, Bob Mintzer, Jon Faddis, Diane Nalini, Liberty Silver, Matt "Guitar" Murphy (of The Blues Brothers), Mike Murley, and Vincent Wolfe.
Sean Bray appeared in the “Sound of Toronto Jazz” Concert Series at the Ontario Science Centre as a member of the Sean Bray and Michael Occhipinti Trio (with bassist Artie Roth) on December 18, 1995.
