Biography
RED RICHARDS (pianist) was born Charles Coleridge Richards on October 19, 1912 in New York City and passed away March 12, 1998 in Scarsdale, New York. Influenced by Fats Waller, Richards many associations included Tab Smith, Bob Wilber and Sidney Bechet, Fletcher Henderson, Wild Bill Davison and Eddie Condon, forming Saints and Sinners with Vic Dickenson and his own trio in 1977-78.
