MULGREW MILLER (pianist, bandleader) was born August 13, 1955 in Greenwood, Mississippi. Raised on gospel and R and B, another of Miller’s early influences, reflected in his technical mastery, was Oscar Peterson. Currently working in a trio format with Derrick Hodge on bass and Karriem Riggins on drums, Miller has released two live albums “Live at Yoshi’s “.
