Biography
GENE BERTONCINI (guitarist) Bertoncini’s versatile and elegant style, on both classical and electric guitars has been employed by notable jazz musicians to symphony orchestras. The Bronx born musician, who earned a degree in architecture, has worked with artists such as Carmen McCrae, Buddy Rich, Tony Bennett, appeared regularly on Johnny Carson, and is a popular studio musician in New York. He has taught clinics at the Eastman School of Music, the Banff Centre and New England Conservatory and currently performs with bassist Michael Moore.
