FRANK D’RONE (vocalist, guitarist) A native of Providence, Rhode Island, D’Rone began performing professionally as a singer and guitarist at age 5, had a radio show at 11 and attracted the attention of Nat King Cole and Oscar Peterson singing in Chicago clubs of the 1950s . Jazz critic, Will Friedwald described his talents as “all singing from the heart and no put-ons”.
