Ethan Ardelli

Biography

Ethan Ardelli (drums) is based primarily in Toronto, although he has been spending time recently in New York City. One of Canada’s most sought after drummers, he has performed David Virelles, Nancy Walker, Jane Bunnett, Mike Downes, and Mark Turner.

Ardelli appears on bassist Mike Downes’ Ripple Effect, which won a JUNO in 2014. Released on Addo Records, the album features mostly a trio setting with pianist Robi Botos, with guitarist Ted Quinlan appearing on one track

He appears on Brian Dickinson’s, Fishs Eddy, which features bassist George Mraz. The album was released by Addo Records and was nominated for a JUNO in 2015.

Ardelli also teaches for the Humber Community Music Program.
