DIZ DISLEY (guitarist) was born May 27, 1931 in Winnipeg and raised in Wales and Northern England. Influenced by Django Reinhardt, he originally learned banjo and took up guitar as a teen. He is best known for his work with violinist Stephane Grappelli.
