Biography
DIANA PANTON (vocalist) The Hamilton-based vocalist is considered one of Canada’s most promising vocalists. After training at the vocal jazz workshop at the Banff Centre for the Arts and being mentored by Don Thompson, she has recorded five critically acclaimed albums.
Her latest recording, Red, was released in November, 2013. It features Don Thompson, Reg Schwager, Jim Vivian, and Phil Dwyer, along with a string quartet. The album won a JUNO in 2015 in the category of Vocal Jazz Album of the Year.
