Amy McConnell
Biography
AMY MCCONNELL (vocalist) has been performing from the age of nine months when she appeared in her first television commercial. Amy continued her childhood career, performing on the TfO TV series “Téléfrançais” and in various professional theatrical productions.
Amy went on to win a scholarship to study musical theatre performance at the American Academy of Musical and Dramatic Arts in New York City. This experience brought an interest in directing and Amy returned to Toronto to study film at Ryerson University. Since graduating, she has become a successful film and commercial director.
In addition, she has a successful career doing voiceovers for film, television, and various commercial clients. Amy comes from a francophone background, is fluently bilingual, and frequently performs in French.
In 2012, she released, Stealing Genius, with musical partner William Sperandei.
