Q: “Do you find that the discipline and structure of classical music would force you to think in structural ways when you’re improvising?”

A: “That's the reason I work with it almost everyday. I believe that jazz music has to be entertaining as well as structural because of the nature of having to play jazz music in social gatherings, you know.”
