Q: “It has happened to a certain degree but is it happening now that people are realizing just what American jazz is and documenting it better?”

A: “I feel that. I feel that there is a really more of a cultural movement, well, not just with jazz, but I think all over the world. I think people are beginning to search and beginning to try to understand more about each other's culture and beginning to document more, you know. And I think it's a feeling that's happening in quite a few places.”
