Q: “Somebody has to be the boss in a sense about getting it all done and I’m assuming that’s falling on your shoulders to a certain degree, so are you explaining to the musicians now and starting to sound like a record executive?”

A: “No, I wouldn't say it has come to that because it has to be... the guys are putting so much money into it themselves when Mike puts out a record. I mean, it costs a lot of money to do that. I can't tell them what to do. I can only advise. And what we try to do is have meetings periodically to discuss things that have to be done collectively and make advice in terms of what we think should go on the record. Primarily to identify the record as being part of the label. And as you say, there are certain things that you come to know and you pass that information on and it's a two-way street. They pass things on to me, so it's definitely a learning process.”
