Q: “Do you write a lot? Do you sit down and write or does it come to you or did you study it or learn it yourself? Tell me all about it…”

A: “Well, it's a combination of a few things. I did a little studying with that. When I first started trying to write anything, I just tried to figure it out for myself, you know. As far as, how many beats should be in a bar and you know, which notes go where and you know.”
