Q: “When you were first a young man and thinking about being a musician, did you ever think it would be that kind of a life for you?”

A: “I never had that kind of idea. I really never knew, Ted, and now, that I see the way things are and after two marriages, you know, you stop and you try to think, well, what can I do? You know, but at this stage of the game, you know, if you had someone that understood, you know, or well, that liked what I was doing, you know, that would ... but women are funny because they say, "Oh, yeah, I like that. I like that," then they change.”
