Q: “You’ve had tremendous success with that label (Concord Records), haven’t you? You virtually started it as an artist; you were the first recording artist for the company…”

A: “First two albums and then of the first six or seven albums came out, I think there was four or five of them, so I like the label. I like the John who runs it, Carl Jefferson, and it's a happy situation.”
