Q: “Did you do well over the years? Did you do well with money, were you always comfortable from your music?”

A: “Well, yeah, yes. You see, I'd been lucky all of my life about making money. I made good money all of my lifetime, but I'm very conservative. My friend, Nick, can tell you how, about spending money. I don't throw away any money. You know, and I'm not rich, but I work. I … if I never work anymore, I'll never have to sell apples on Broadway.
