Q: “You have done duos with other people along the way but [Dick] Hyman is still the best for you?”

A: “He's one of the most flexible pianists in the world, really and one of the top pros and he's very imaginative and he never makes a damn mistake in this. His tempos are good and his chords were imaginative and he doesn't care what key we’re in and it goes on like this. So of all the people that I have played with, I can count on him the most, you know, just always being there.”
