Q: “Who brought you to music? How early did you start – was it in the family?”

A: “Yeah, my mother, she played a little bit of piano, you know, and she would be playing spirituals around the house and then my father, he was in aviation, but after hours, you know, when he get home, he would play the saxophone and he would play in the corner. You know, he's a tenor.”
