Q: “If there was a nice offer from somebody you admired to go back out on the road as their piano player, would you do it or do you want to stick on your own now? You would like to concentrate more on doing everything yourself now, wouldn’t you?”

A: “Certainly, there are a lot of people left for me to play with or I haven't played with yet or people I would like to play with. On the other hand, I really do enjoy playing my own music and thinking of my own formats as well. So I think there is a happy medium between those two areas.”
