Q: “Who have you worked with that has taught you that? You say you have to play with some of the great [swing] players…”

A: Adam Makowics: “I work with the best guest musicians today. In New York, they almost hey live ... I work ... It’s lot of places where usually they hire two musicians only, piano and bass.”

Interviewer: “Right”.

Adam Makowics: “Because they don't have license for drums that produce that sound, you know, level.”
