Biography

SAM BROVERMAN is a Toronto-based vocalist. At the age of 60, his released his debut recording, “Dream Maker, Heartbreaker,” featuring the music of Johnny Mercer. The recording features trumpeter Kevin Turcotte, bassist George Koller, violinist Lenny Solomon, and guitarist Chris Whiteley.

In 2013, his released his recording Leftover Dreams, which celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of songwriters Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen. The recording features pianist Mark Kieswtter, bassist Jorn O'Connor, and drummer Ernesto Cervini.

Broverman has appeared in Winnipeg, Vancouver, New York City, and Hong Kong.
