KEITH JOLLIMORE (saxophonist, flutist, vocalist) was born in Nova Scotia, and is now deceased. He obtained much of his musical training in Canada’s Armed Forces, ultimately becoming one of the most sought-after players for recordings and live performances in a variety of genres.

He worked in Toronto and all across Canada for many years, perhaps most notably as a long-time member of the celebrated “Lighthouse”, Doug Riley’s “Dr. Music”, and a sometime player with (Phil) Nimmons ‘n’ Nine Plus Six. He also worked frequently with David Clayton-Thomas, Brigham Phillips, Claude Ranger, Pat Riccio, and several other major talents on the Canadian music scene.

Keith Jollimore was a member of ‘Nimmons ‘n’ Nine Plus Six’ when they performed in one of the earliest concerts in the “Sound of Toronto Jazz” Series at the Ontario Science Centre on March 7, 1977.
