JOHN KARPENKO (trombonist) was a member of Jim Galloway’s Wee Big Band when they performed their inaugural concert during the ‘Sound of Toronto Jazz’ Series at the Ontario Science Centre on February 1, 1979. He also played with Shox Johnson and the Toronto Jive Bombers in a ‘SOT Jazz’ concert on March 24, 1980.
