Biography

BRUCE HARVEY (pianist) is a respected Toronto pianist who has worked as a solo pianist, accompanist, and ensemble player at venues throughout the area for nearly four decades. He is one of the most sought-after pit-band players in the city, and for several years has been the pianist for many of the most important touring productions playing at the major theatres in Toronto.

Harvey led his own group, the Bruce Harvey Quartet (featuring Mike Malone on trumpet and bassist George Kozub) in the “Sound of Toronto Jazz” Concert Series on December 19, 1988.
