Biography

ANDREW SCOTT (guitarist, educator, journalist) Scott, a talented Toronto based guitarist, earned his PhD in Ethnomusicology from York University has produced four acclaimed recordings “This One’s for Barney”, “Blue Mercer”, “Generations” (with Gene DiNovi and Dave Young” and “Nostalgia” on the Sackville label. Aside from working with many of Canada’s best musicians, he co-leads the Clayton/Scott group with Jim Clayton and is an active journalist, former managing Editor at CODA magazine and teaches at Humber College, Seneca and York
University in Toronto.
