Q: “What do you want to do with music, now that you have the natural ability and you turn around to present it to an audience, what is it that you’re trying to communicate to them?”

A: “Well, Justin [ph] has this creative quality and gets better easier as I go along, which is the criteria of ... and also very rewarding when somebody comes up to you and say, "Man. Gee, man. You sound ..." You know, like the only you get to be more mellow, the better you get. There’s no more rewarding compliment for me than that because that’s what it is. In other words, tonight, I’m going to try and play twice as good as I played last night.”
