Q: “For how many years, were playing in and around London, England?”

A: “Yeah, I was playing it from the late 60s, you know. Well, it's funny enough some of my first gigs were with American musicians, which was quite lucky when I look back and think that I played with Henry Red Allen and Pee Wee Russell and now they're dead. And from there, I seemed to be working a lot with visiting Americans, you know.”
