Biography

JACK WILSON (pianist, saxophonist) was born August 3, 1936 in Chicago Illinois and passed away on December 5, 2007. Among the artists the versatile tenor saxophonist worked with: Dinah Washington, Gene Ammons, Sonny Stitt, Gerald Wilson and Lou Donaldson. In addition to his sideman duties, he recorded several albums for Blue Note as leader.
