Biography

GERRY WIGGINS (pianist) was born May 12, 1922 in New York, New York and passed away July 13, 2008 in Los Angeles. Los Angeles based Wiggins or “Wig” as he was known, evolved to a studio musician for television and film having worked with Louis Armstrong, Benny Carter, Lena Horne,Nat King Cole and Helen Humes as well as leading his own trio. Wiggins resume included acting as vocal coach for Marilyn Monroe.
