Q: “Where are some of the favourite places for you to play? We have a recording done at Ronnie Scott’s – is that a nice place to work?”

A: “Oh. Oh, yes, I love Ronnie's. That's another club that I ... they were originally in Gerrard Street at another location and when they moved to the present location on Fritz Street, I opened this club with Sonny Rowlands and I was living in London at that time, so whenever I was in town I always worked Ronnie Scotts. It's a wonderful room. Yeah, I think everybody loves working there.”
