Q: “Was it a family activity, music?”

A: “Yeah, it was. My dad was an old-time fiddler and mom played a few chords on the piano and we used to go out and play for, you know, country dances on Saturday night. That's after I learned a few grips, so I joined the aggregation. So that's definitely a family thing.”
